About The Speaker:
Romeo Filip
Founder at Battle Foam

Romanian-born Romeo Filip is a former Marine and serial entrepreneur. He has launched, and successfully managed several businesses in both manufacturing and professional sports. After being honorably discharged from the military he started Diablo Bats, a wooden baseball bat company serving major league baseball players. Romeo later created and patented a foam-cutting technique using lasers and launched Battle Foam LLC, an international packaging company with locations in the UK and US. Battle Foam specializes in precision custom-cut foam enclosures for weapons, golf equipment, packaging, and collectibles. Most recently, Romeo has found a love for kart racing and has launched a new and exciting karting league named Formula 501. Romeo is currently growing the karting industry in the US by building the first FIA-approved international karting racetrack here in Arizona.
